Why do we keep experiencing di  iculties, temptations, and challenges, even though God has promised us joy and fulfillment? The answer is found in the letter to the Hebrews where it says that God needs these things for our maturity and that we will reach our goal if we constantly keep our eyes on Jesus. Jesus himself is our greatest joy and fulfillment - also in this world!
